What are your opening hours?


Monday: 9.00am - 6.00pm Tuesday: 9.00am - 5.00pm Wednesday: 9.00am - 6.00pm Thursday: 9.00am - 7.30pm Friday: 9.00am - 12.00pm




Do I have to make an appointment?


Yes. We are an appointment only clinic. If you have an urgent situation, please call us and we will try to fit you in where possible. You can make an appointment by calling up or booking online.




Do you offer quick appointments for scripts, certificates and referral reprints?


Yes we do. Our 'quick' clinic is between 12pm and 1pm Monday to Thursday. If you think your appointment will be quick, let us know when you call up to book.




I'm a new patient, what do I need to do?


If you are a new patient, we ask you to come in 10 minutes before your appointment time to fill in the New Patient Form. To save time, you can download the form from https://www.firstpeopleshealthandwellbeing.org.au/newpatientform and email it back to thomastown@fphw.org.au or bring it with you on the day. Our team here are more than happy to help you fill it out.




What do I need to bring to my appointment?


The only thing we need is your Medicare card




I need to cancel my appointment, how should I do it?


Please let us know if you can't make your appointment so that we can provide that space to someone else. You can call us on 9070 8181 or email thomastown@fphw.org.au




Is there any cost to see a GP?


No, we are a 100% bulk billing clinic.




What do I do when I get there?


Please enter our building from Westall Street and let our reception team know you are here for an appointment.




Will you send me a reminder about my appointment?


When you sign up as a new patient, you can tick 'yes' to agree to receiving SMS reminders about your appointments. If you select yes, we will send you an SMS 24 hours before your appointment

Do you offer transport?


We do not receive funding for transport. Please see "Getting Here" for access. We are located near a train station and have a bus stop out the front.

What do I do in an emergency?


Please call 000 immediately




What do I do if I need after hours care?


Please call 13 SICK (13 7425) for after hours and home visit care





Getting here

Do you have parking available?


Yes, we have plenty of carparks on site. Please enter from Westall Street. If the carpark is full, you can park on Westall street with no time restrictions.




Can I get a bus to the clinic?


Yes, the 555 (Epping Plaza to Northland Shopping Centre) and 557 (Thomastown and Lalor West) buses stop straight out the front.




Can I get the train to the clinic?


Yes, we are a 7 minute (550m) walk from Thomastown station
