We'd like to introduce one of several Australian First Peoples' health professionals on our Board of Directors - Dr Reece Lancaster
Reece is a Bundjalung man and an Addiction Psychiatry Advanced Trainee working at Monash Health as site principal Psychiatry Registrar for Casey Hospital. Reece is an active member of the Australian Indigenous Doctors' Association. He has an undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Masters of Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne. He was the inaugural recipient of the Monash Health Psychiatry Registrar of the Year award in 2017 adding to a Mental Health prize for clinical excellence and Mentor of the Year award he received in 2017 and 2016 from the Senior Medical Staff Association. He holds a Premier's Award for Business Management and has previously worked for the Koorie Heritage Trust in a managerial role.
